Gender analysis and gender mainstreaming

One of the Millennium Development Goals is to promote gender equality and empower women. In that respect, gender mainstreaming has been promoted by many international organizations, donors and civil society organizations as an accepted strategy in order to promote  equality. Gender analysis should be included in all interventions to ensure that  programmes are informed by gender dimensions in order to successfully meet the needs of men, women, girls and boys.

Triple Line has undertaken evaluations and provided technical advice on gender issues, including on gender mainstreaming to international organizations, donors and civil society in their endeavors to make gender perspectives central to their activities, whether it is in policy development, research, advocacy dialogue, resource allocation and planning and implementation of programmes/projects.
