Analysis of individual project achievements and the factors affecting their level of achievement provides valuable learning opportunities. Lessons learnt can then be fed back into grant programme policies and procedures, and can be shared with other grant holders, potential applicants and other organisations engaging in similar work.
Triple Line is a keen proponent of systems that support the identification of key learning points from project and programme monitoring and evaluation and appropriate, targeted dissemination.
Triple Line is also actively involved in disseminating our learning to others. Recent activities in 2010/11 include:
- Presentation of our learning to the Big Lottery Fund and Comic Relief;
- Support to DFID’s thinking on Value for Money and Challenge Funds
- Preparation of a learning paper for DFID on the Governance and Transparency Fund;
- Presentation to the All Party Parliamentary Group on Agriculture and Development;
- Presentation and Debate at the Business Action for Africa series;
- Presentation at a Challenge Fund Learning event hosted by Business Trust in South Africa.
