Karin Tang is a principal consultant working on business development for IPE Triple Line. She has 25 years of professional experience, including 15 years in international development. Her experience has focused on development planning, governance, social development and aid effectiveness. She has worked in the areas of public sector reform, local government and decentralisation, institutional development, urban management and poverty programmes, and peace building and humanitarian policy. She has worked for clients including UK public sector agencies, DFID, the ADB, JICA, UNDP, WFP, the EC, Danida and the World Bank.
Karin is an experienced evaluator, having evaluated a range of international development projects across different implementation modalities. She has excellent communication and drafting skills, with more than 10 years’ experience in newspaper, magazine and corporate publishing.
Karin has an MSc in Development Studies from the LSE and a post-graduate diploma in Journalism Studies from Cardiff University. She has a first degree in modern languages and speaks fluent German and French.
