David G.V. Smith
David is an Economist with 30 years experience in the management of project teams across a range of sectors.
David has implementation and evaluation experience of Challenge Funds and has conducted design and impact assessments of private sector development programmes for a range of donors and private sector clients.
He has a thorough understanding of project cycle management procedures and risk management and has managed budgets including a £75 million coffee stabilisation fund in Papua New Guinea as well as the current £2 million annual turnover of Triple Line.
Prior to forming Triple Line in 1999, David worked with URS (Dames & Moore) in London (1995-9). He was economist and general manager of the Coffee Industry Cooperation in Papua New Guinea (1990-3) and economist with the National Farmers’ Union in London (1981-1990).
His technical expertise covers the following Triple Line service areas:

Lydia Richardson
Lydia is a social development and governance specialist with fourteen years of experience advising companies, governments, voluntary sector organisations and international financing institutions.
Lydia understands the public, private sectors and civil society organisations and she is able to work in different cultural contexts and languages.
Prior to forming Triple Line she worked for URS (Dames & Moore) . She has also worked for Action Aid and the International Institute for Environment and Development in London.
Lydia’s technical expertise covers the following Triple Line service areas:
